There are those like Ransom and Conway The Machine who are not afraid of Chaos and desperation, indeed, they almost feel at ease with it. After all, after a tragic past, they overcame difficulties, situations and trials that most people would not have been able to face, only thanks to their own willpower and by developing powerful weapons with their skills. So two of the best rappers around joined forces causing panic. On Chaos Is My Ladder 2 the two alternate at the microphone on the obsessive and at times claustrophobic atmospheres created by V-Don with his grimey productions.
The Washington D.C. rapper is undoubtedly unique among the underground scene. Voice, flow and singular thyme patterns are paired with the amazing ear and taste for productions and the quality of the producers as the ones involved for this new project entitled Pride Of A Man. Ankhlejohn proves, once again, one of the most innovative and original emcees around .
From Inglewood, Los Angeles (California), 2 Eleven released a gangsta rap album for grown men, adults, who in the game of life have reached the awareness to distinguish assets from liabilities, business and fun, have progressed from street kids to self made entrepreneurs , whose first aim is to take care of their family, also making music, as they like. All accompanied by the productions, with a mix of current and classic West Coast atmospheres, provided by Phyton P.
The rapper from Kensington (Pennsylvania) Ot The Real is one of hottest MCs of 2024: joining Benny The Butcher’s Black $oprano Family has certainly given him extra stimuli and motivation. “Steel sharpens steel” and Ot The Real continues to grind out projects at a high level, with tons of raw and intense street bars, this time assisted by the productions of Nickel Plated.
From Buffalo (NY) ElCamino pays homage to the classic album by Raekwon and the entire Clan, thanks to a tape with boombap vibes and sound but with that twisting and modern touch that makes everything extremely entertaining. The versatile and,in its own way, innovative flow and rap of ElCamino also kind of rejuvenates the classic sounds of the beats.
Sauce Hei$t brings us, every time, the sound and the raw and dirty imagery of the alleys and project buildings of the Bronx like in 4 dimensions, accompanied as usual by his crew members from Heist Life and other good fellas from the east coast underground scene like Rome Streetz. Today very few emcees represent the true and dusty sound of the New York underground like Sauce Heist and his companions.
In the Mini Mansion of Lynn (MA) the two brothers, producers and MCs, TheMellos like the SuperMario Brothers, Mario and Luigi, enter their underground world made of raw sounds, samples, snare drums, flows and rhymes. Accompanied obviously by Estee Nack and other guys from that futuristic and arcane laboratory that’s called MiniMansion.
From the darkest and most underground streets of Philadelphia, Ralphie Reese took us on a paranormal journey where storytelling (comparing himself to an urban Count Dracula), street knowledge and the philosophical principles of the Supreme mathematics of the 5 percenters mix with extreme authenticity and naturalness. Lyrical skills and raw, excellently crafted boom-bap beats (self-produced by himself) do the rest.
The legendary Spanish producer duo Cookin’Soul in this ShowTime project teamed up with the Valencian veteran rapper, originally from Equatorial Guinea, Kid Frankie. A 100% classic roster, with strong and pure class and creativity like the national Spanish Basketball team coached by Scariolo.
