Fluro first became interested in graffiti in the early 2000’s, while in high school. She didn’t meet any other graffiti writers for a couple of years, but spent a lot of time sketching. She has been writing sporadically since then, sometimes taking a break from graffiti, but it’s the one thing she always comes back to.
Her work in influenced by typography, sign-writing and graphic design. Experimenting with new mediums and ways to produce work is always interesting to her. She is a member of the Stick Up Girls crew, and Krosswerdz Artists crew. She is working on a new project — Double Lives, a platform for women in hip hop, and particularly graffiti, to connect and share their stories.
Adventure, creative expression, travel and connection motivate her to keep painting. In the future, her intention is to paint much more frequently, as well as develop her style across graffiti, artwork and large-scale walls.
